SmokeATX promises to start working on getting your item sent out as soon as the purchase is made. We like to get items shipped out same day if possible, as long as the order is received before the time of 2:00PM CST. Delays can occur due to bad weather, payment verification/address mismatch, as well as shipping company delays. We will do our best to communicate any issues shall they arise, but please understand that some issues are out of our hands once they leave our facilities. Shipping companies we use are UPS, USPS and FEDEX . We offer ground shipping, overnight shipping, 2-day, & 3-day shipping. Please know that certain shipping options may arrive later than the estimated shipping time. Delays from the time of purchase, to the time of shipping the product out, can affect the estimated shipping date and time of arrival as well.

Packaging products before shipping

Over the years we have learned proper techniques to shipping delicate and/or fragile items such as expensive functional glass art. The way we ship glass is using what is called a " double boxing" technique. We typically wipe down every piece and clean it thoroughly using safe cleaning products to remove all debris, kiln dust, finger prints etc.. Then we wrap each piece with bubble wrap, concentrating on the fragile areas on the piece itself. Multiple layers of bubble wrap are used to ensure a thick safety barrier is retained. After being wrapped we get a box slightly larger than the piece itself and fill with packing peanuts on the bottom. Next we set the wrapped item in the box on top of the packing peanuts and fill the remaining space with more packing peanuts. After we securely close the box we then repeat the process in a larger box with the first smaller box inside. By doing this, it ensures the best possible protection to delicate articles, fragile glass, and other breakables during shipment. If possible, we prefer to ship more expensive pieces in Pelican cases for ultimate protection, depending on the item itself. Some items have Pelican cases included, they will be marked and/or described as such.
