JP draws innovative ideas from everyday life. Whether it's a color pattern on a passing tractor-trailer or his experiences designing comic books during his younger years in downtown Philadelphia, he finds inspiration everywhere. From the industry's early days with tubes and hand pipes to introducing smaller styles of glass rigs and dabbing accessories, JP's designs have become industry standards and have influenced countless pieces. His experimentation with quartz and the creation of the Terp Slurper, with its unique percolation holes that enhance the flavor of concentrates, exemplifies his dedication to pushing boundaries and creating functional art that excites the market.
In recent years, JP Toro has found a passion for Millie work, incorporating original images and characters into his glass art. Drawing from his background in animation, he explores various art forms, from glass millefiore to fashion and music production.
